The following prizes will be awarded for each MBS School Wide Bee: 1st place - $50, 2nd place – $25, and 3rd place – $15.
Students will also participate in the “Great American SpellCheck”, which is an encouraging fundraiser that makes sure 100% of the money raised benefits our school. Students will study the spelling list created for their grade level and collect pledges from friends and family for every word he or she spells correctly on the Great American SpellCheck 50-word test. Our goal is to raise $25 per child and 100% of these funds will go back to supporting Mission Basilica School.
Every child who participates in the SpellCheck and returns their pledge sheet and money by March 1st will receive an ice cream treat! The top fundraiser for each class will receive a pizza lunch AND ice cream!
Together, we can encourage strong spelling skills and help our school meet its fundraising needs!
