Admissions Information

The first step in our preschool admissions process is to schedule a tour of our campus. Please contact us at preschool@mbssjc.org to arrange a tour.

• Step 1 - Tour of Our Campus

  • The first step of our admissions process is a tour of our campus. Tours include classroom visits and an overview of what life is like as a Swallow.

• Step 2 - Application and Assessment for Review 

  • Once families decide to proceed and apply to our school, they must submit two years of report cards and standardized test scores. These documents will be reviewed by our principal. While the principal reviews the documents, students will need to take an assessment. Students applying for kindergarten will complete an assessment through Chancy & Bruce, while students applying for first through eighth grade will take an assessment on our campus.

• Step 3 - Notification of Decision
  • Once a decision has been made by our Principal, your family will receive an official letter. This letter will include the next steps for enrollment.

Experience life as a Mission Basilica student! The best way to discover what life is like at MBS is to shadow at our school. We will match your child with a current student who shares their interests. Your child will have the opportunity to ask questions, tour our campus, attend classes, and gain insight into student life.
