Dear MBS Families and Visitors, 

Mission Basilica School is committed to providing an outstanding Catholic education as part of the rich tradition begun by our founder, Saint Junipero Serra. Our primary goal is for students to develop a love for the Lord and a passion for learning.

Our educators have developed a standard of excellence by providing a comprehensive and challenging Blue Ribbon curriculum. The school’s curricular goals are driven by critical thinking and problem solving in all areas as students are challenged to reach their full potential. This year we have incorporated some noteworthy programs such as STEAM, Writer’s Workshop, interactive online Spanish, and differentiated instruction in the classroom.

Our Two-Year-Old Program provides a student-centered, play-based approach to educating the whole child. From preschool to eighth grade the academic core is what students need to succeed in high school. From Faith Families to St. Joseph’s Day, students are brought into the fold of family and community. We offer a place to grow and become part of another family, the family of Mission Basilica School which all our students and alumni call home.
