About Ms. Walsh

Ms. Walsh attended Catholic parochial schools and the Convent of the Sacred Heart, studied education at Loyola University, and then earned a B.S. in Earth Science from the University of New Mexico. She later obtained an MBA and worked as a compliance principal in the financial services industry. After moving to California she decided to return to her first career, education, and earned a Clear Credential with a CLAD certificate. Both of her sons, David and Daniel, attended Mission Basilica School and she was thrilled to hear of an opening for a sixth grade teacher. She is proud of her own two MBS graduates who are both currently enrolled in medical school, at Penn and Brown respectively. In her years at MBS, Ms. Walsh has taught all subjects of the curriculum, but especially enjoys her role as the Science teacher for the Middle Grades and being involved with the Academic Decathlon. In her spare time she loves to walk her dogs Ricky and Bobby at the harbor, as well as traveling to experience different cultures.
